Day Center Meal

Please join us as we serve a warm, hearty meal to the people utilizing the Tulsa Day Center.
ACT partners with the Tulsa Day Center to feed their clients on the second Sunday of every odd month. This is one small opportunity to give a little back to those in need. We aim to offer smiling faces to serve home-cooked meals. Please click on the signupgenius for a list of needed items.

The SignUpGenius for food can be found here.

ACT partners with the Tulsa Day Center to feed their clients on the second Sunday of every odd month. This is one small opportunity to give a little back to those in need. We aim to offer some smiling faces to serve a home-cooked meal. We will post a sign-up sheet for needed items.

If you can’t cook, or all the needed items are spoken for, we can always use more smiling faces and helping hands. There is no requirement to bring something.

If you can’t attend, but want to help, please consider donating for the meal.

Game Night

Our game night has been very popular! Please join us again for games, pizza, snacks and good conversation! We will provide the pizza. You may bring games, a snack, or just bring yourself! We meet in the Pocahontas Room at the Tulsa Central Library downtown. Don’t miss it!

Drinking With Atheists (DWA)

We meet at a restaurant/bar in the area and just have some fun socializing. This event is open to all atheist-friendly people. Whether you identify as atheist, agnostic, free-thinker, humanist, or simply non-religious, you are welcome to join us!

ACT Book Club

We will get together and discuss a book that is related to our mission – to encourage and advance reason, logic, free-thought and a secular view of the world.

This month’s Book: The God Virus: How Religion Infects Our Lives and Culture by Dr. Darrel Ray.

“Dr. Darrel Ray, psychologist and lifelong student of religion, discusses religious infection from the inside out. How does guilt play into religious infection? Why is sexual control so important to so many religions? What causes the anxiety and neuroticism around death and dying? How does religion inject itself into so many areas of life, culture, and politics? The author explores this and much more in his book The God Virus: How Religion Infects Our Lives and Culture.”

ACT Adopt-a-spot

Feel free to bring a picnic lunch as we will have some time to socialize while at the park.

Adopt A Spot is a program where the public can help the City of Tulsa clean and beautify public spaces throughout our city that need a little extra attention.

ACT has selected Langenheim Park as our first Spot. This is a small park off of Harvard Ave.
